My Name is Anthony J. Dorsey.

I have dreamed of being a filmmaker ever since I watched Star Wars at 3 years old. Since then I have loved movies and still go to the movie theatre as often as possible. I'm originally from New York but lived in North Carolina most of my life but am open to moving anywhere to continue my career. I have earned a bachelor's degree in Electronic Media Broadcasting in the Department of Communications from Appalachian State University and a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Film Production from Full Sail University.

I am passionate and skilled at video editing and cinematography, writing, production design, and other facets of filmmaking. My goal is to work on a movie that inspires others to become filmmakers much like my favorite filmmakers, George Lucas, Christopher Nolan, and Zack Snyder have inspired me. In the meantime, I am looking to grow my skills and progress my career in film/tv/video creation wherever my path takes me.

While I attended Full Sail, I was apart of several projects. I was the director of photography on a short film called "The Perfect Match", and director of photography and production designer on a stop motion short "Meeting at the Batcave". I also directed, wrote, edited, and was director of photography on a short film called "The Loop" which has been featured in multiple short film festivals. Lastly, I was the editor of a no-budget feature film, "Pestilence".

Recently I was a video editor for Underscore Talent where I edited many videos for different clients of the company such as Rooster Teeth, Dude Perfect, Roman Atwood, Deer Meat for Dinner, Amanda McCants, Billy Vsco, Flair, Sofie Dossi, Kay & Tay, Heart Starts Pounding, Elliana Walmsley, Brodie That Dood, Ian Boggs, True Crime Kari, SOMS, Aydan, HungryBox, & more..
